In a lecture hosted by the Myra Kraft Open Classroom at Northeastern University, the community-centered masterplan of the Albaydha Housing Project was presented as a case study for environmental justice. Social Impact Lab Director Rebecca Riccio and Co-founder and Managing Director of The Zovighian Partnership Lynn Zovighian explained how the data-driven strategy of the Albaydha Housing Project led to the project being designated the national pilot for developmental housing in Saudi Arabia.

Deputy Governor of Makkah HRH Prince Abdullah bin Bandar Al-Saud initiated a task force to swiftly repair the damages to the Albaydha Housing Project masterplan caused by a rapid three-day flood in late November 2018.
